A promise

I got my room

Many sleeps ago, I; A child, was promised a room. My legs seemed so tiny in that big seat, I had never really sat in the front seat before. “What you want on the walls”, He gleamed with confidence. I Believe him. I believe him, because he believed in himself. “I want dede from dexter’s Laboratory.” I gleamed with confidence only a father could command of his seed.

A room. A room. A room. I imagined the light shining through my pink translucent curtains, unicorns and rainbows. The smell of cotton candy in the air. On the big screen of my minds eye, I worshiped the idea. The idea, many moons soon to be true.

I found my room. Its square. Four walls. A closet, two windows. A room. “I tried! I tried! I tried!” I cried, he shouted, I shouted. I cried… I tucked my tail in, I cowar.

Not because I’m weak. Not because I’ve had enough, or was even exhausted. My warrior saw a battle NOT against a father and daughter. BUT a have and have not. A Did and a DID NOT. A Doer and a Sayer. My warrior saw the most weakest form masculinity. My father in dire need of a mothers love.

His Mothers love.

His reality, once Irrational fears.

Irrational fears breeds Irrational ideologies, thus irrational acts.

Her rational fears, her rational ideologies, thus rational acts.

Her fears, became prayers… prayers that would become prove to be prophecy.

“Lord, please don’t let BL be in the pin when I pass.”

She passed, and he was pinned.

A too late… and a Just one last time.

I embraced my father, with confidence like no other could command such a thing of his seed. But a father…

But as life flows with no feel.

I felt low, beyond feel.

My flesh betrayed by the very being it sprouted from?

Would Zeus do such a thing?

Would he pluck her from his skull?

Crushing what the world left of her?

I got my room. No curtains. No rainbows. No Fictional characters painted on the walls. Prancing about, Like many moons ago envisioned.
